We are a well established and experienced trading company founded in Hamburg in 1963. At that time as well as nowadays we supply raw materials to the Western European industries. Our constantly expanding delivery programme consists of fillers and additives, which meet today’s stringent requirements, be they environmental, fire resistant, reinforcement or thixotropic. All light weight fillers have been moved from Heinrich Osthoff-Petrasch GmbH & Co. KG to the sister company OMEGA MINERALS Germany GmbH, to meet rising demand and to meet the very high quality requirements for our sophisticated light weight fillers.



Our purchasing managers travel world-wide to find raw materials which meet these requirements. We do not only aim to introduce you to these raw materials; more importantly we want to ensure that the logistical chain of supply to you as a client, operates smoothly and without delays. With own logistic centers in Hamburg, Bielefeld and Stuttgart we guarantee ‘just in time’ delivery.



We are a specialist in fillers, as well as thickeners / thixotropes. Our materials will improve the following properties of your final product:

- reinforcement
- high temperature resistance
- rheological adjustment

We always do our utmost to increase our programme to fulfil the rising demand of our customers. We also pay great attention to ensuring that our fillers are not harmful to health and comply with regulations.



Importing raw materials globally is a challenge. Test standards, quality control procedures and marketing philosophies of our suppliers vary from country to country. Therefore we test all new raw materials with great care before building them into our programme. It goes without saying that the raw materials must be of consistent quality and we insist that our suppliers have a quality management system that match ISO standards. Indeed, as a supplier to the European Automotive Industry we have to give an undertaking to supply a raw material of a constant quality for at least five years, once qualified. Thus do our customers rely on us. Our quality management system which is ‘state of the art’ allows us to monitor all working processes and prior to delivery to our customers each and every consignment of raw material is checked by our licensed laboratory. Our sales staff will consult with you on site the best way to ensure maximum efficiency of our materials in your formulations and in close co-operation with you we can develop the right technical solutions. Our own basic research can often provide custom made formulations thus saving you time consuming trials which could be better spent in other research and development activities.
